Does anyone know which one has the best overall 2D and 3D picture for blu-rays and upscaling dvds? Both seem pretty equal, but the Panasonic costs slightly more and wondered if it had anything extra special over the Sony.

Sony is usually rated near the top for all players not called Oppo.

One thing the Panasonic has is a second HDMI out, which probably adds a little bit to the cost.
I can tell you that I have the Panasonic model below that, the BDT360, and it is absolutely amazing both in picture quality and sound quality. I previously had a Panasonic 3D player from a couple of years ago, which was already very good, and I was surprised at the noticeable upgrade that this was. I doubt you'd be disappointed with the 460. |
