I asked the same question as a regular visitor from UK to Central Stockholm. Unfortunately the Swedes have followed the British lead and moved virtually all their BD sales online.

The ones I am aware of in Central Stockholm are :
- MediaMarkt in the basement of the Galleria shopping centre. Go back a year had a great range but the entertainment section has been decimated this year. Now just a few bays with a limited range of new releases and a small section of discounted back catalogue. Used to have a good selection of steelbooks, box sets and promotional titles all now gone.
- Åhléns, the big department store has a small selection along with books on the lower ground level above the supermarket and by the train and metro entrance. Prices close to full rrp and it's more DVD than BD

The other non mainstream store was SubDVD which I believe has now closed, as they were closing this summer and fully moving the business online. Great store tucked away a few minutes from the Centre with horror and adult titles plus US imports. Was where I got the recently released fully uncut A Serbian Film, which the mainstream stores and online refused to stock because of the negative publicity.

I went to Åhlens today and purchased Nightcrawler there. I also went to some other stores but it really seemed like physical releases are almost dead in Stockholm (Blu-rays/CDs)...sad.

Good to hear you managed to find something.

Copenhagen which I also travel to, am there next week, is slightly better. They still have the Fona electronics stores which have a reasonable range in Central Copenhagen. Pity TP Musik died off with the final one near our office closing a couple of years ago. That had been trading for over 30 years in Frederiksberg and was a great mix of music and film. Probably the best in Denmark is now Bilka (the hypermarket chain so similar to WalMart), but the closest to Central Copenhagen is in Fields the shopping centre on the way to Kastrup Copenhagen airport.

I don't know Bilka in Fields, but I would prefer to shop in Fona, compared to the Bilka closest to me.

I don't know for sure, but I think Fona's in financial trouble. Stereo Studio has no presence in Zealand, but are quite good here in Aarhus. They're in deep trouble too, of course.
