Yeah, if you can find a 60gig available pick that up.

If playing back PS1 and PS2 games aren't an issue for you, get the 40 gig.

The difference in terms of PS2 compatibilty between the 60 and 80 gig is only about 10%...chances are if you play PS2 games you'll be alright with the 80 too. The 40 doesn't play PS2, SACD (not a problem for most), and it only has 2 USB ports while the rest of them have 4. I would say go with the 80 because you'll at least get Motorstorm out of it. You can order it on Sonystyle.com for $499 and get a $100 credit if you apply for their credit card...it's a great deal. Then get some BDs and either rent or buy Uncharted and Ratchet....you won't be disappointed.

Go with what best suits your budget. If price is not an issue, buy the 80. If you are watching what you spend by the 40 and get a few Blu movies.

mmmk

A... 60's are THE SAME PRICE AS 80'S!!!!! Why would you buy a 60. You get more HDD space AND motorstorm.
B. 80's supposedly are slightly quieter and slightly more heat efficient.
annnd C. THEY'RE THE SAME DAMN PRICE!
