private chat on ps3?? - Blu-ray Forum

just wondering if its possible to join a private chat and play games online or offline while in the chat? i know you could do this on 360 and i loved that feature but i just started with ps3 as a gaming system today and i cant seem to get that to work. is it even possible?

Sony are woking on getting a FW update that will allow us access to the XMB while in game, this will hopefully allow you to do that but until we get that FW upgrade, you can't do that, but don;t despair since it is in the works and hopefully will be delivered soon
