Gyllenhaal was once again fantastic as usual. Definitely picking this one up.

Yeah.
Good flick.
It's gotta be difficult to make a good boxing movie today, what with trying to make the formula on screen feel original... But this one worked well! Of course, pretty predictable, but still great. Lots of credit goes to the acting and the directing, of course, otherwise, in others hands, this could have ended up cheesy.
Ill be buying the blu

This movie is a classic case of great actors making more out of pedestrian material than it deserved. Great performances in an otherwise trite story.

Hope they do the "early digital code" at Best Buy like the recently did with Mad Max. Works out to be a good deal in my opinion.

The two Blu-rays we got in at work did not have digital copies in them. I opened them myself. It was really odd. It says it's supposed to have them. I wonder if anyone else will have this problem. They aren't rental copies or anything.

There was one guy who did an early unboxing video two weeks ago on Youtube and his copy was missing the digital copy as well

I wonder if Anchor Bay will send the code via email once they realize the
problem!?

Can confirm that Moviestop (acquired by Hastings, so same company) got them in and 3 stores had NO digital either. Glad to hear it's a wide thing and not just us. Sucks, for sure, but *whew*

There was a production issue or something with digital copy code slip, so a lot of private store owners who get movies 2-3 weeks early arrived with a ton of blu-ray combo packs without the digital copy slip. Not sure how the issue can be resolved. Was hoping it would be fixed by now, but guess it's still up for grabs later today.

Amazon emailed me a promo code for the digital version. Another reason to shop Amazon

Was that a promo that they offered to everyone? Or was it because yours did not come with the digital code either, so you had to contact them about the issue? Otherwise, wouldn't that promo be limited to Amazon video only since it's not UV?

I haven't even received the disc yet. They just sent out the code to me. I didn't ask for it.

I also read that the steelbook isn't any exclusive version you can order it from place's like amazon too.

To those who already have this disc, does it include the James Horner tribute which, I believe, appears on screen immediately before the closing credits?

(It was present on some of the US theatrical prints but AFAIK none of the UK ones)
