That's awesome. The big thing that will be needed is lots of stage visuals because they just tweak nobs and press keys for this to be remotely entertaining in 3D.
Love there music, don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to hearing more about this release.

I'm really curious to know the audio specs of this will be - considering technically Kraftwerk has done and released a live performance in multichannel form before as a SACD release ("Minimum-Maximum")

I'm surprised Kraftwerk hasn't expanded their music with more new albums in modern times after their Tour de France Soundtracks from 2003.

For their music live tour, do Kraftwerk use the same sounds as the original songs or do they update it with modern synths I wonder.

For the 3D live tour stage concert, I can picture plenty of fog and light beams that could give a nice 3D effect.

I saw the recent tour twice... nashville 2015 & atlanta 2016

Stunning shows musically & visually!

(But no fog or lasers - just images projected on the screen & wonderful lighting)

I agree that Amazon have made the listing rather confusing but I've pre-ordered this on the basis of the product description. Initially I was a bit annoyed that a CD wasn't included, but I use a DVD player to play CDs anyway so no big deal...

13thman: Which edition did you order from the UK? I see there's a 2-disc edition for 16.99 Pounds, and a super deluxe 4-disc edition in a 12x12 box and a 228-page hardcover book for around 104 Pounds (Total running time: approx. 436 mins).

Amazon Germany also lists 2 different editions, one around 30 Euros and the other around 185 Euros.

What's vague about this release is the title: "3-D The Catalog." If one purchases the vinyl or Audio CD or DVD, the title is STILL "3-D The Catalog." So how can we be 100 percent certain the blu-ray actually contains a 3D blu-ray that will be presented on-screen in 3D like the 3D movies we all enjoy? I hope this is not purely a 2D blu-ray that has the title: "3-D The Catalog."

They are also being listed as DVD AUDIO format, which is not the same as 3D blu-ray format.

I need to do more research on this confusing release.

The Model is great but its not even their best track. You need to listen to more Kraftwerk! Its not even the best track on the Man Machine album!
