I help you, I'm Canadian.

Arcam 380 receiver without Atom Dolby and DTS X: Neo!!!

Try this

- Integar
- Denon
- Marantz

My old receiver Harman Kardon AV/R 245 with Outlaw 7125 power amplifier for 10 years.

I'll upgrade new receiver I need to have Atom Dolby and DTS X:Neo.

Good Luck.

I forget to tell, first I voted MAD MAX: Fury

One simple question?

Have you ever listened or audition an Arcam receiver? The thing is I personally did not buy an Arcam for alllit's bells and whistles but bottom line is it sounds better than any HK, Integra or Yamaha receivers I ever heard plus it comes with a 5 years warranty, Seriously you choose a receiver with the priorities you wish to put first. Yes Atmos is a nice to have but to me a quality 5.1 with great sonics does not take away the experience imho. One other thing with Arcam is their distributor in Canada offers tremendous customer service unlike Integra and Onkyo or Pioneer now owned by Onkyo

I know Canada has done his due diligence and he has done a lot of auditioning and he knows very well what he is getting into. He is well aware the receiver does not have all the bells and whistle competitors may have but the Arcam do have tremendous amp section plus they no loger suffer HDMI issues they might have had with their first AV receivers.

No, I don't know about Arcam home theatre but only I know hi-fi stereo.

My hk receiver AVr 245 is warmer sounds with high audio Blu-ray. It's very old 10 years my receiver. I have a power amplifier OUTLAW 7125, 7 channels per 125 watts at 8 ohms and 7 channels per 190 watts at 4 ohms.

Pioneer elite and Yamaha are best receiver! Period it.

I looking a new receiver with DTS X: NEO and of course ATOM Dolby.

No way - before purchasing my Processor, i almost purchased the Arcam 750 but was tipping over to the Cambridge. in the process tested the Yamaha CXA Processor (love the build quality) but the audio department just wasnt what i was looking for. Yamaha like most japanese receivers sound IMO cold. while the Arcam and cambridge sounded warm (much nice IMO).

for music stay away from japanese receivers but for latest tech japanese hands down.

I would say go for Mad Max: Fury Road and the Police concert.

It wasn't listed, but if you own this concert, I would give that a spin ASAP as well.

A Canadian, telling a Dude named Canada, not to buy a Canadian AVR?
Thats funny!

I've read one or two reviews on Arcam in the past and they were favourable.
Like BigAl87 said, you're definitely on the right path.

I voted for BHD, but SPR is fricken awesome. I haven't seen Furious 7 yet, but that'd probably be very worthy!

The best of luck to you with your new AVR!

*edit
I now see that Arcam is British, not Canadian. I'm surprised no one corrected me.
