Is Universal doing something similar to Fox's Movie of the Day?

Ive noticed a different Universal movie has popped up on iTunes for $5.99 or 6.99 everyday. Yesterday it was Billy Madison, today is Get Him to the Greek. There is no app that I know about for this, but it would be awesome if other studios jumped in on this idea as well. Great for us impulse buyers...

I hope this trend continues, I wish touchstone would have stuck with it every week. I missed out on Armageddon and Con Air, money was tight at that time.

I'd like to see them start offering more movies that can't be had via digital code. So far it looks like they've done only 3, altho the ones that have been offered with codes some of them the blu rays are OOP so they really hard to find (like Eternal Sunshine, and American Gangster).


I wanna see Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, We Hot American Summer, and Munich get offered.

Thanks for this! 12 Monkeys is one of my favorite Sci-Fi films and probably in my top 20 favorite films of all time. Bruce Willis was great and Brad Pitt was awesome in this movie. Fantastic film by Terry Gilliam. (OK, my gushing is officially over.)

Looks like they may have started back up today with a handful of movies. I do believe they all have codes available though. All of these are $4.99 today.

Straight Outta Compton, that's interesting. It's been 60 days since it came out on disc and the EST price is $5. Nice to see an aggressive reduction like that. I hope they sell a lot of copies so they do that again.

Also, I think the Identity Thief code redeemed as theatrical - this sale is for the unrated version. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
