I assume the discs will just be the pre-existing KR BDs, I'm sure they look fine, although for reference I believe they are BD25s instead of BD50s like in Japan. Just worth considering when picking which release to purchase.

Are you sure you're not thinking about the Hong Kong releases? Those are indeed BD25s. I can't find any Korean Blu-ray releases of any Patlabor.

I was. My bad. These'll probably be BD50 clones of the JP release then going off other recent KR BDs.

Not really impressed by the cover art, I think it's the random colors that ruin it for me. And why are the cases so damn thick?

I mean those are all the main colour for each respective film's main JPBD art so I wouldn't say they're completely random. And remember it's just an early mockup there's a good chance they'll just be regular thickness (unless each comes with a booklet or something).

Unless I'm missing something, this set is going to cost 33,000 Won. That's less than $30 aka cheap as ****.

Actually think it might be 33,000 Won per film. So close to 100,000 total. Suddenly not too cheap haha.

I fully expect the subs to be gimped as it's a Korean release.

But I'm in nonetheless.

I already own both the JP LE box sets and the US Blu-rays, so I probably would only be interested in triple-dipping on these for the lenticular slipcover releases, as I do love lenticulars... Hmm, decisions, decisions...

It wasn't up at KimchiDVD when I checked last night, but it is now. Put in mah order for those bootyful fullslip sets. I'm not really a fullslip kinda guy, but I think they look better than the lenticular ones.

I just ordered the Lenticular sets a few minutes ago myself - I'm a big Lenticular fan, I love 3D anything...

EMS shipping is really painful, it's half the price of the set - but I don't want to risk going with the standard shipping, and I prefer receiving my sets in 3 days rather than 3 weeks. Less time in shipping, less chance of damage or loss - but at least Kimchi packs their stuff really well.
