The US release has 5.1 sound with exclusive featurettes
while the UK release has the original 2.0 stereo track with exclusive interviews

The interviews sound all great...

Although had they included a few more special features or an recent audio commentary & this would've been the definitive edition.

Looking forward to hear about the transfer... guess we'll have to wait for the reviews.

The commentary is hilarious because they bash the film my fav “Bad David Lynch is good Alex Cox!”

Sadly Alex Cox didn't add anything to what he'd already contributed because he doesn't have any interest in making films anymore.

What makes you say that? He just completed a film this year called Tombstone Rashomon which he crowdfunded. He definitely has no interest in studio/Hollywood filmmaking but he is still quite active as an independent.

Last conversation that I had with him. Which admittedly was about six years ago. He said that he wasn't going to do any more films as he was concentrating on his writing. Glad to hear that he's back in the arena that he started in.

Anyone notice an audio drop out on this one? Happens at 33:40.

Edit: Worked fine on my 4K UHD player. Must be something in the audio settings on my PS3.
