Can I use a universal remote on this model? Will I be able to find a code for it? Most importantly, will a u/r let me access the hack code to make my model region specific?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() Universal remotes will work as long as it’s a higher end learning remote that learns the IR codes from your existing remote. Finding a Universal Remote with pre-programmed IR codes for Seiki might be harder. If they do not have the codes for Blu-ray, then possible maybe the codes for the Seiki DVD player might work. The region selectable feature has nothing to do about the remote control, if the firmware in the player is region selectable then any remote that is compatible with the IR codes will work. |
