Ehh, it could be funny to watch once. I'll pick it up in a few years when it is $10 or less.

Was really excited for this movie due to Hart and Johnson, but PG-13 is a big turnoff. Hart needs that R-rating.

You guys obviously didn't see the film. I did.

Hart's character is very toned down. He doesn't need the "R" - it would be out of his character. He does have some outbursts and they allow the "F" bomb for that.

The movie's a pretty hardcore PG-13 at that (a surprising amount of blood & some gore). Not for the kids.

A surprisingly fun & entertaining film with a lot of surprises. Definitely picking it up.

You realize this is the UHD thread right? I don't think any UHD movies have reached $10 yet. It may not take years, but it will definitely take longer than weeks.

Ghostbusters II on the Target glitch was under 10, and if you saw Ebay for the first 3 weeks of release you'd see how many copies were sold on it. However, you are otherwise correct, 17 bucks is about the lowest you'll see a release for a catalog title right now, and that's only from Lionsgate, not new-release fare. Black Friday may be interesting with Best Buy ($16-$22 for titles like this, I'd wager), but I doubt Wal-Mart will have *any* in their ad.

I'm still saddened at the absolute dearth of UHD sales. The format war brought us so many b2g1's and b1g1's from many retailers, it was hard to not build up a library in those old days, which helped drop the secondhand market as well. This format is battling 3 prior formats for purchases at the same time, which has to be a record.

I am confused and stunned this is getting the 4K treatment when so many other titles are ripe for the plucking. I mean this is just an average comedy, right? I have not seen this. Is it really any good or deserving of a UHD release?

Same reason it performed so well at the box office...The Rock. His name sells and Warner Bros. is counting on his name to push this as well. The earlier the days of the format the slimmer the picking and it will sell better now than waiting until a few years down the wrong...they gotta strike while the iron is hot.

I've been a fan of the Rock since the WWE days, both him and Kevin Hart are talented, but this movie was just an average movie at best. I don't think it deserves the 4K release at this point, but I'm not surprised. This is the kind of mindless crap that people buy in droves because of the names on the package and the fact that it is easily digestible entertainment with nobody having to spend energy figuring out the plot or jokes.
