£25 is very pricey though pretty sure the price may drop before it comes out as noticed this on other blus.
Our cinema is not showing star trek the closest one is Ipswich and for the price may as well get the blu ray but will order when its down to £16.
for a just the 2d copy.

I'm more interested in seeing the 4K HDR blu-ray announced, along with Treks 1 and 2 in the same format.

I just wish they'd bundle 3D in with the 4K titles, as they've done with Batman v Superman in Japan, so you didn't have to double dip.

Just seen it,
Quite enjoyed it, even more then the other 2 - which I also enjoyed.
Will get this. But done with chasing steel books now. Just regular 2D edition for me please - well, maybe that isn't true for the Marvel movies.
Be nice if it had a slip.
Actually looking forward to seeing again already on home release

Very mediocre movie, not great, not terrible, just supremely average.

Doubt I'll bother with the steel for this considering my feelings towards the movie. Will just go for standard 3D release.

Pretty much, what everyone has said, so this solidifies that

I thought the film was terrific, warming to it more and more as it went on.

You can definitely see that they're keen to re-establish more of what made Trek popular in the era of Shatner, Nimoy and Kelly, with a focus on the dynamic between their characters.

Can't wait to see this again, hopefully in 4K HDR.

I see that Amazon in the US are bundling 3D blu-ray and UHD blu-ray in a set, together with the USS Franklin model.

I wonder if we'll get any sort of 3D+UHD combo offering in the UK?

I liked it. It wasn't as good as the first two and it really felt edited down, like parts of it had been cut which lead to some scenes being a bit unclear. I think it needed an extra 5-10 minutes. But I enjoyed it. Not the best of the 3 but still enjoyable. Looking forward to the blu-ray since the movie was really dark in my screening. I was struggling to see what was going on in some darker scenes so I think that was because of the 3D and my cinema being a pretty rubbish one (I detected at least three broken speakers in the screen) so they probably turned the brightness down thinking it wouldn't matter. It's Cineworld so it's expected.

Loved the movie, I thought it was terrific. I like the look of the US 'ultimate combo' set with the USS Franklin model. Wants it in UHD!

Hopefully Paramount have learnt their lesson with Into Darkness and we don't get jipped on extras.

Yep. And Im also put off ordering after what happened with the IMAX edition of Into Darkness. Does anyone know if there is a chance of this happening with this one?

Were there actual ratio changes in Beyond? I don't recall any.

I haven't seen it in IMAX (not going to, either) but AFAIK there's no aspect ratio malarkey with Beyond. So Jim need not fear, unless he's talking about the extras that were so utterly screwed up with the regular edition(s) of STID. Hopefully Bad Robot and Paramount have learned their lesson.

None of Beyond was shot using IMAX cameras, and there was no AR changes in the IMAX showing.

Will be waiting for a release to come out before buying to make sure I don't get stung for going at a high price. I will need to have a slipcase though.

Loved it! For me, best of the 3 because with this one, for the first time, that Trek feeling was back, which was missing with the first 2, which for me were nothing more than entertaining space flicks. Loved the scenes with McCoy & Spock.
