Wow Best Buy is really starting to see the market possibilities with Steelbooks. I like that. Hopefully we will see as many releases as the rest of the world now!

So this this news, that means the GoT steelbook line(as expected) continues through S6.

Now, about the BB S6 slipcover info!

nice, but, I can't buy it if the packaging and the spine don't match the other 4 seasons. I'm wondering if this isn't an exclusive because of some dvd of extras that's being stuck in there?

the downside is that it will probably be higher $ than the standard steelbook release of season 5 and you won't be able to price match it

because of the exclusive tag stuck on it. in any case (see what i did there?!?

) i'll wait and see when more details are given about it.

Yeah I agree with that as well. Really bad for those that bought the first ones. Makes me wonder if Season 5 will get a general release later on and maybe this artwork is just exclusive to Best Buy.

from the looks of the front it kinda does,

we just haven't seen the spine to ensure the artwork is continuous. also, we need to see the wide release steelbook of S5 to see what the differences are, if any. notice what the BB exclusive sticker says, I mean, come on man, they all have the magnetic Sigil. now unless BB has a different Sigil than the wide release (and I can't imagine HBO would allow that) then that's a FAIL on the part of BB.

I've made my peace w/season 5 looking different, I just hope they continue w/a new slip this year.

Did anyone buy this? I have not been able to find a copy anywhere. I was able to find season 6, and I can only fine season 5 on Amazon.de, I would prefer English text on the box, so here is hoping I can have some luck if anyone is able to help me out.

Seems this one is hard to come by! This is the only one I'm missing and also I was able to get S.6 from the UK for around $42

I just got all 6 steelbooks used off of ebay earlier this month for $158 shipped. That's just under $27 a steelbook. No digital copies but I couldn't be happier with them. No scratches or dents anywhere. I'd keep checking ebay everyday. That's how I came across the ones I bought.
