New DS4 Now Supports Wired Connection

The PlayStation Live stream is still going and Mark Cerny revealed that you can now connect the DS4 to the Pro via USB and use it as a wired controller for almost zero latency gameplay.

This will be a pretty big advantage to twitch games like CoD or any sort of fighting game, the MLG will probably love this feature.

So it won't work like the controllers for Xbox 1 still works for the S?

They work just fine, this is just a new optional feature.

When you plug in current DS4s they will charge via the USB but they still connect to the console wirelessly. Cerny said that now you can connect via the USB without the wireless connection.

Ok I thought you meant that the controllers wouldn't work without being plugged in thanks.
