I have great hesitation over this based on the mastering credit, Emily Lazar @ The Lodge did the mastering for the regular release of the album and even the 24/192 high resolution stereo mix is a disastrous DR5, slammed to heck!

Will they slam the surround mix too? Will the surround mix sound more like Bob Clearmountain's incredible mix of Bob Marley's Legend or Adam Kasper's Superunknown?

First look shows the 5.1 mix isn't horrendously clipped and slammed like the 2.0 24/192 mix, so that's a good sign - good enough sign for me to order from Amazon UK. Should hopefully have it before October 7th week-end and will report and run DR meter on it.

mine arrived in the mail today (from band website order)... might not get around to it until the weekend though... sad it doesn't include the videos from the album!

I totally loved the surround mix of this album. Very active, lots of fun and color. Quite the enjoyable listen, for me. It reminded me that I need to spend more time with this album. I haven't listened to it enough yet to know it super well.

Not my fave Coldplay album altho the surround mix is not bad at all, but I wish it had been Ghost Stories or one of their first two albums as those would get much more listening.

Given the market value of this one, I think it's gonna go to eBay.
