Why are they even still selling HD DVD's with BOGO deals if the industry wants one format?

Because they want to squeeze every last dollar from uninformed HD-DVD buyers before the hammer drops.

I really don't care about Amazon what-so-ever...

I feel they cater to Wii/360 more than PS3 and they cater more to DUD than BRay...

I rather go to B&M stores to buy my stuff anyway...

I have never and will never buy a thing at Amazon...

This is a big deal for HD DVD let them have their week, we have the year. HD DVD is selling well this is their big push for Warner, they want them bad, but one week does not make the year.

cause hd dvd had one of thier biggest sales ever on amazon. i wonder if the stat about the foot ball field included ps3s. im assuming they did as a football field is (300x150) square feet and there are 7 of those he said, which comes out to a couple hundred thousand players if you assumer 1 player is 1 square foot (just to be easy)

I wonder if the bump in titles has anything to do with the 10% promotion ending in a couple days.

Any news that suggests BD standalones are keeping pace with HD-DVD standalones is a hammer blow considering HD-DVD's firesale pricing.

What is "firesale pricing" at Amazon? I thought that was a one time deal at Wal-Mart and they're now back over $200. Or am I wrong?
