All items are new. Shipment is normally within 48 hours. Some items may be temporarily out of stock, in which case a second shipment will be made, normally in 14 days, but in no case later than 60 days. Most items are in limited supply and may sell out fast.

ITEM CONDITION

As the guarantee states, all items are new. We sell NO used/previously viewed items.

Some of our items are direct from labels or distributors. These items will be marked with a ‘*’ on the website. Other items (all new as well) are bought from bargain sources. These items may or may not have what is known as a “remainder mark”. In the book world, this is a simple marker mark on the bottom of the pages. In the media world, remainder marks can be anything from a barcode sticker with a new UPC or a marker mark on the UPC, to even a slashed/drilled barcode, though thankfully the latter is very rare. Much of our media product comes in with no remainder marks at all, but it should be assumed any item without a ‘*’ may come with one. This small mark can save you a LOT of money!

PRODUCT SOURCES

We buy overstocks, liquidations, company/label closings, big-box store unsold returns, and more. We attempt to work directly with labels whenever possible. Over 90% of our product comes from U.S. sources but some blu-ray product is Canadian (keep an eye out for French text on the cover, or a unique UPC).

BLU-RAY SCHEDULE
We list new arrivals on our website once every four weeks. The new receipt schedule is below. Each date is a Monday, and titles appear on the website in the early evening.

Please note that for the first three days of the new arrivals week, all blu-rays are limited to no more than 1 copy of an item per order. That limit falls off on Thursday, at which point you can order multiples copies, if available.

SHIPPING/TRACKING

We serve only the United States, doing NO international sales. Our apologies to blu-ray bargain hunters in Canada, Mexico, Europe, and beyond, but put it quite bluntly we have more than enough orders already and are focused on providing the best possible service for our existing US customers.

All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. We offer order tracking via the USPS Electronic Verification Service (EVS) but the way orders are tracked comes with a major caveat for anyone used to location by location tracking. EVS offers far less scan points, and as such packages often will have only two to three tracking updates. Once when a label is generated, and after that the next update is often when it hits the Network Distribution Center in your state. By that point, the item is often only a day or two from delivery….but has crossed the country with NO updates. So if you are used to tracking your order point to point as it travels the country, please be aware you will be working with far less data than normal.

SPLIT SHIPPING

Media (Blu-rays, DVDs, CDs, Vinyl) ship from one warehouse, Books ship from another. Therefore if you order both media and books, you will get multiple packages, each with its own tracking number.

SHIPPING RATE

Shipping is a flat $4.00, no matter the size of the order.

SLIPCOVERS

We realize the immense importance of slip covers to some customers. Please be aware that we do not list whether a title does, or doesn’t, come with a slipcover. The item’s photo on the website, front or back, is not indicative of a slipcover being present or not (we remove any slipcovers to take our photos).

Because stock sources can vary, and slipcovers are sometimes a limited time offering, we can never be sure each and every unopened case on our shelves has slipcovers. If the slipcover is important to you, we ask that you make a ‘slipcover check request’ either in this thread, or via a PM to buyer GoldenWheels.

We will attempt to check the stock ASAP and give you an answer on the presence of a slipcover on our existing stock. You must then decide what to do with that knowledge, and how quickly to do so! Please keep in mind our buyer drives over to our media warehouse and checks the items himself, so we try to do this in batches, rather than checking each and every time we get a request.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD CODES/VUDU/ULTRAVIOLET ETC

We do not advertise or promote any included digital download codes of any kind. They should be assumed to be NOT valid, though in many cases they will still work. Some of these items have spent months, or even years on a warehouse shelf, in which time the code may have expired. Please understand this before you buy, and know that an expired digital download is not a valid reason for a return.

Please note we WILL NOT check for the validity of digital download codes upon request. However, others who bought the product in question may be able to offer some insight if you ask within this thread.

I REALLY WANT TO BUY ‘X’ BLU RAY, CAN YOU GET IT?

Our buyer scours each and every list that comes across his desk for the best deals. He is also constantly looking for new deals, and new labels. If there is a label or title of interest to you, we ask that you mention it in the thread. We are very receptive to customer suggestions and while you will likely not see immediate results, we read and learn from as many of the suggestions as we can. This allows our buyer to both hunt opportunities, and, more commonly, recognize opportunities when they cross his desk.

ORDER MODIFICATIONS

We realize some customers will attempt to modify their orders after being placed. While we strongly discourage this practice, we will TRY to accommodate these customers. If you request an order modification after placing the order, we ask that you included the exact specifics of what you wish to be done with the order in the first message, along with the order details, and your customer details.

We cannot guarantee we will always be able to make the requested changes, and making the request may delay your order…which could cause you to miss out on another title on the order. Additionally, the payment method itself often limits our ability to modify an order to a customer's satisfaction, as they often have rules limiting changes made after initial authorization. Again, for these reasons and more, we strongly discourage order modification requests.

They've also got a bunch of the Roger Corman Cult Collection DVDs for between 10 and 15 bucks. I could wish for blu ray, but those prices are still pretty amazing.

Human tornado, Nightmare weekend and psychic killer at $9.95. Dolemite is at $11.95. Some very solid prices if you look at the blu-rays. I own most of them, but I ended up picking up 10, Mrs. Miniver, and Catch My Soul.

The 1981 Bob Rafelson remake of THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE, starring Jack Nicholson, Jessica Lange and a kitchen table, is also $5.95. The transfer isn't great, but at that price, it's worth it.

HAMILTON BOOKS has been in business a long time and I can vouch for their quality of products and service. They have a rep who is a film buff himself, frequenting the boards at DVDTalk and has also made appearances here on this site. I've been ordering books from them since the late 80's and DVDs/Blus in recent years and everything has always arrived well packed and in great shape.

I order from them pretty regularly and have always found them to be reliable. In addition to the blu-ray prices above, they also have some really good prices on some more obscure DVDs (some of which are long out of print) from companies like Code Red, Mya, Retromedia, etc.

Just to note, I believe "Sunset Boulevard" is technically out of print at the moment, as it was distributed by Warner as part of their Paramount deal. I don't imagine that it will be out of print forever, but if you're paranoid, that's a great price to grab it at. (I'm grabbing it.)

Yep, I think that's the case with Ten Commandments too, and some others that are reduced on their site. Worst case, there are region free international releases that people can get if they decide not to bite on this deal.
