I think Windows Media Player and TVeristy are teh 2 best programs out there to do it. I thought they were fairly easy to set up as well. Plus they are free. I know you can also use Nero Media Home, I think its called, but you have to pay for that program

I've had the same issue as well. I use Windows Media and set up playlists for music (much easier for me than sorting through tons of folders). So, finally, I got my music. Most of my pics seem to be there.

Video is a different story. I can not see ANY videos in the "My Videos" folder through Windows Media. I've tried many different files.

I've tried TVersity with no luck. I just can't seem to get it to share my stuff.

I'll be interested in the responses, as well.

These are the step by step instructions on how to setup file sharing from your PC to your PS3 via the PS3.

1. Open Windows Media Player 11 (has to be 11 since it doesn't work with any older version).
2. Then click on the "Tools" tab.
3. Then click on the "Options" tab.
4. Then you will get a new Window then you choose the "Library" tab.
5. Under "Library" click on "Configure Sharing".
6. Then make sure that "Find media that others sharing" & "Share my media to" are checked on.
7. Then at the bottom it should list the machines to share your files to, make sure you click on allow on all the devices on that list otherwise it won't share the files over to the PS3.
8. Restart your computer and PS3 to be on the safe side.
9. Enjoy your wired/wireless file sharing on your PS3

(Optional) If you still have issues make sure your firewall isn't blocking you from file sharing, (very common problem, but you should only check if you still can't connect after step 8).

I hope this guide helps you guys out that are having issues.
