Default what's the most movies you have watched in a row on your blu ray?

I am talking about watching in a row without giving the blu ray player a break. I have watched entire seasons of tv shows that include 3 to 4 discs all in a row. I have watched 2 to 3 blu ray movies without taking a break. What's the most that you have watched? Or do you prefer to give your blu ray player a break in between the movies that you watch?

Usually, about 3 or 4 maybe is the max. I have two Blu-rays players, one that is region free and one that is region A. Since most of my stuff is Region A, that one gets the bulk of the use, but it gets a break here and there when I decide to marathon Region B (mostly) stuff.

Every year I will do a Matrix trilogy marathon and a separate LOTR extended editions marathon, each in their own respective sitting. This year I am trying to find the time to do a full franchise sitdown starting with the Hobbit extended editions and ending with the LOTR extended editions.

Time, it seems, is not being cooperative with my plans.

Once a year, usually a rainy / sick weekend I do LOTR Trilogy in one day. I don't think I've done anymore than 4 in a day.

That's crazy. The whole extended Middle-earth 6 movie set is 19 hours 17 minutes not including credits. I've watched the LotR extended trilogy all in one day before several times, and The Hobbit a couple too, I've even watched all 6 original saga Star Wars movies in one day a few times too, but I will never watch all Middle-earth or all Star Wars movies in one day. It's just too much.

In my youth I easily sat through 8 or 9 movies in a row. These days I'm struggling not to nod off on the 2nd

Ha, yeah, that's me too! When I think of all the double bills I sat through in the sixties, I just can't do it these days.

One and a half.
I only ever watch one movie at a time, don't understand this bingeing stuff.
However, with The Hobbit, which makes more sense as two films instead of three, I'll watch the first movie and then the second movie up to the point that they reach the Lonely Mountain. Then the next night I'll pick up from there and watch the rest.

Beerfest.

I wish I could say Blade Runner or Alien, but Beerfest is highest on my rotation.

How many times in one sitting do you watch it?

The OP wants to know how many films IN ONE SITTING WITHOUT ANY BREAKS that you can watch. And you said Beerfest is highest on your rotation.

MY wife and I hosted this marathon a few years ago at our house. We started early morning, and ended about 830/900pm at night. We then went and watch fireworks with friends after since it was the 4th of July.

My wife cooked waffles for breakfast and we grilled burgers and Bratwurst for dinner.

I'm just guessing, but I would say the Friday the 13th films. I used to enjoy watching the marathon's back in the day. I know there was a time or two when I would watch all that the USA Network would put on. So many years ago. The USA network is shit now.

I've seen the complete series for Phantasm on DVD (minus the 5th film since it didn't exist at the time) in a single day, including DVD bonus features which consisted of a couple of feature-length documentaries.

I watched 25 Bond films (including the non Eon productions) within two weeks, including the Blu-ray bonus features (most of the films had 2-3 hours worth of extras each).

There's been a few short tv-shows I've watched the entirety of in a single day (Ash vs Evil Dead, Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot).

Doesn't count as Blu-ray, but last Friday I watched the first 9 episodes of the new MST3K on Netflix on my PS3, which is basically the same as sitting through nine movies.

I just watched 3 last night in a row... Slumber Party Massacre 1-3. With that said I feel like this question should be less about the number of films watched but the length of time spent watching them. I've watched the full Red Cliff Epic at one time which equals about 5 hours, and frequently have done Star Wars or Lord of the Rings Marathons but I'm hard pressed to say that I've ever spent longer than about 6.5 hours in a row watching anything.

Gaming wise however, back when I was in college and/or fresh out of college and not yet married I frequently would game all night from 9-10pm until 8-9am straight through. I have vivid memories of buying my original xbox and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic in 2003 and pulling an all nighter like this.
