So his 3-D boxing film is on hold?

Meanwhile, it will be interesting if he shoots this one in 3-D and more theatres are willing to install the Magi Cinema format this time around (only four theatres in the world had it installed for Billy Lynn).

I suspect he needs to deliver a film that could bring in some box office before doing another pet project.

This has been in the works for much longer than that (Mel Gibson was attached for a number of years). In addition, Looper lifted much of its premise from Timecop.

I am sold on MEW or Tat, not so much Debicki.
I am also okay with Will Smith, though he wouldnt be my first choice.

My big hesitation is Ang Lee. Looking back on his filmography, I don't see a single movie I truly enjoyed.

I am not sure if I ever saw Taking Woodstock or not. Never got around to watching Sense & Sensibiity and have no interest in Life of Pi

To be clear, I am not saying he isn't a good filmmaker. I know many consider him an excellent director. I just never personally got into any of his films, so I wonder if I will enjoy this one or not.
