The only difference I can see is that HMV will include the 3D disc. Zavvi will have the 4K disc.

I've noticed that lately too. When HMV has the exclusive 3D steelbook Zavvi hops onboard with their own 4K exclusive steelbook.

If its paramount it most likely will not not be region locked. Every Transformers movie so far has been region free.
