Coming to PS4 and PS Vita digitally, on February 15, 2018 worldwide. Completely revamped 3D graphics and updated gameplay:

Interesting. It looks like Sony have some kind of deal in place considering its not listed for Xbox or Switch.

Wonder if it will have the same charm as the SNES original?

I would assume it's just Square not believing it's financially worthwhile to release it on those platforms. I would not be terribly surprised if they announce a Switch version later if the system keeps selling well.

No mention of online co-op. I'm not exactly 15 anymore with the ability to routinely get some friends over with a multitap and an extra controller, so it would be kind of nice if they implemented that.

Well they probably think it wouldn't sell on Xbox in Japan, but it's out now on the Switch. The Switch version is a Collection of the Seiken Densetsu games including Final Fantasy Adventure with the original retro look. The PS4, PS Vita and Steam versions will be the new remastered look.

I'm not terribly impressed by the voices but I'm glad they're there, odd as that may sound. Wonder if the final version will have lip flaps.

this was one of those games i never got around to playing ... maybe ill check it out this time around .. it certainly is ( atleast among people i knew ) the most talked about RPG ( excluding FF of course ) ever

This is cool. We may yet get Seiken 3 as well: FFA/Seiken 1 got a remake. Now Secret of Mana / Seiken 2 has one.

Including the original game an unlockable would be cool. I still want the Switch trilogy to come to America, but this reveal in and of itself is good news.

I only played Sword of Mana, Dawn of Mana, and Legend of Mana. So I'm very excited to get a chance to play this. It look beautiful! Here's hoping it turns out good.

I noticed that. I understand that I'll never be able to not go to Gamestop at all as long as I'm into video games, but I have managed to reduce my expenditures there considerably. I'll allow myself a little spending there for Secret of Mana.

I despise Gamestop as well. This will be the first game I buy from them in almost a decade. You can be sure this release will be a collector's item with the limited run.
