I already own the Shout Factory release. It seems they’re both using the new 4K scan from the negative so I wonder how they’ll compare, and how different they will be, if at all.

I may be swayed into buying this version too if it turns out to be better.

Any idea when preorders will go up?

Pre-order already up at the Arrow Store, and there's a listing on Amazon UK.

All one one disc, rather than two, and obviously different packaging too. Full exploded packshot going up later today, but it's definitely a hard outer box with an Amaray and 60-page booklet inside. At the £24.99 asking price, I'd expect there to also be artcards and a poster at least!

I know the preorder for Amazon UK isn’t up yet, but can the listing be seen online? I can’t find it there yet. I want to preorder it but have the option to cancel just in case.

Awsome cover art. The commentary will probably be enough for me to double (make it triple) dip.

I also like the cover art. Kind of reminded me of the MoC cover for Nosferatu.

That cover art is outstanding, never got around to getting the Shout Factory release so I might get this one instead.

Oh wow. I nearly bought the Scream Factory version just yesterday. Never mind that now, as this will definitely be mine. What a beauty!

I'm pretty satisfied with the Scream factory release, but man this is tempting.

Same here. Didn't even know this was a thing until like a minute ago. Mighty, mighty tempting...

There was more than one and I didn't like that he insisted on open matte for it.

Very pedantic but...

"Back when the film was first released, Miss Collins said that the girls did a "really shitty thing the other day". On newer versions of the film it's a "really shitty thing yesterday". This must have been done when the filmmakers realized the scene took place the very next day after the opening shower incident and Betty Buckley obviously had to re-dub it. The dub is even noticeable on the DVD. " - IMDB

Any chance we could finally have the original mono track? The re-dub always bugs me.

Yes, I am a nerd!
