Legendary producer/director Dan Curtis (The Night Stalker, The Night Strangler) teams up with renowned sci-fi/horror writers Richard Matheson (I Am Legend) and William F. Nolan (Logan’s Run) to present three tales of horrific suspense in this highly rated and critically acclaimed made-for-television anthology that also showcases the tremendous acting talent of Karen Black (Burnt Offerings, The Day of the Locust), who plays four distinct roles. In Julie, an aggressive college student seduces and ultimately blackmails his seemingly shy English professor; in Millicent and Therese, two polar-opposite sisters become increasingly hell-bent on the undoing of one another; and in Amelia, a woman falls prey to a murderous Zuni fetish doll. The strong supporting cast includes George Gaynes (Tootsie), John Karlen (Daughters of Darkness) and Gregory Harrison (TV’s Trapper John, M.D.).

Wow, I just started watching this via Amazon Prime yesterday, and I decided to look up whether there was a Blu-ray release. I saw that it was likely to come from Kino, and here we are It's a pretty decent, albeit short anthology. Karen Black is great in the various roles.

Have to admit I've never seen this. This will probably be among Kino's future slipcover collections.

Just a week ago I saw someone describe the first two segments of this as being "the movie equivalent to side A of 'In a Gadda Da Vida.'" For all I've ever heard anyone discuss them, that is a great comparison!

That zuni fetish doll story used to scare the crap out of me. The other stories were a bit boring though. I'm pretty sure I have this on DVD, but I'm in for an upgrade.

I seen just the end of it a long time ago so this is good. I seen the second all the way as it was shown on TV tons of times.

I recently included this one among my top 50 horror favorites on another thread. Looks like I'll be retiring my DVD.

Awesome.

This one is the best, but would be nice if it were bundled with TOT2.

I think Trilogy of Terror 2 is with CBS, so Kino could possibly release it separately as they have dealt with CBS in the past.
