Logan - Mainland China

Hey guys,
Thanks for taking the time to check this threat out and apologies if this is in the wrong section. I was hoping for some help if possible.

I recently discovered that Logan has a blu-ray release in Mainland China that happens to be edited for content. I'd really like to get a hold of a copy, but I'm having trouble finding a source online to import (I live in the US).

I was hoping that a member would have thoughts on how I would be able to get a copy. Any help would be great. If someone happens to have this, it would be awesome to know if it really is shortened by 14 minutes.

This blu-ray is selling here on JD.com and Taobao.com, I don't think any overseas website is selling this...
The mainland China censored version is mostly heavily cut (mostly violence scenes, but even some of the end credits were cut to shorten the film to get more theatrical showings) compare to the original version with a few replace scenes (

[Show spoiler]X-23 holding the head was replaced with X-23 carrying the handcuffs, the headshot of X-24 in the end was replaced with bullets hit his back

).
Also I believe this disc is region C locked.

Thanks a lot for the reply! That explains why I've had such a difficult time (impossible thus far) finding a place to import it.

Also, thanks for the information about the edits. This is actually exactly what I was hoping for with the modified scenes. Do you know if the film still flows well as a whole?

Interesting. Any direct links to the discs? I'm not interested but I'd imagine that any interested party could find a mail forwarding service with a Chinese address, and then have the package sent outside China.

Hey guys,
Sorry it took me so long to update, but the film arrived safe and sound! I can confirm also that it plays in a region A player. So although the back of the case specifies region C, the disc itself doesn't specify a region and it's at least A and C (possibly region free?).

I watched the movie and qw0aszx, you were absolutely right about the modified scenes. Truthfully, I think the way things were edited down were done very gracefully and not jarring IMO. I know Logan did insanely well financially, but it's interesting to me that a legit official (PG-13-ish) cut of this exists and yet it wasn't made available anywhere else but Mainland China. I think had Fox released this in the US, plenty of people would have still gone for the R, but it would have been a nice option for those who rather have the consistent PG-13 for their X-men movies.

Anyway, thanks again qw0aszx for all your help. I couldn't have gotten this without you and I truthfully couldn't be happier!
