Visually it's very cool. I do feel like the cover art for this movie has gotten progressively more neon

First the Criterion release, then the UK regular release, then the German release, and now this.

It's cool, but thankfully I prefer the Criterion. A VHS, DVD & two BD's is enough.

Looks alright, but whose gun is that supposed to be? Abby's revolver would've made much more sense.

Also, the tagline makes no sense, because blood simple means "the addled, fearful mindset of people after a prolonged immersion in violent situations."

Gotta say, if they wanted to do more Coen steelbooks I would've rathered Raising Arizona or Barton Fink.
