I'm kinda tempted, if only to get rid of the original trilogy steelbook Best Buy put out initially. It's DVD-sized and bugs the heck out of me.

Eh, little too plain for me to be even remotely tempted by this one. The outer slip looks nice but I'll probably buy the standard Blu-ray/Digital for $30 soon just to rewatch them all.

I love the look of these steelbooks. However, I ain't buying unless the first three films have fresh 4K scans of the original negatives.

JP movies have a shaky history on video, but Universal's stepped up their game (Mummy 1 looks excellent) so I'm optimistic.

I'm optimistic, but also skeptical. I remember when we all thought Universal had turned the corner for good back in 2014 with their Breakfast Club, Apollo 13, and Spartacus releases. Then they fell back on their old game. Hopefully, if The Mummy is an indication, they're going to stick with doing proper scans again.

True. But they've done well with ET and King Kong 05, and even the other Bournes that came out with Identity were mostly fine (I really like Supremacy's UHD). So the odds are looking good. Hopefully I didn't jinx anything lol

But I will be hella nervous when they inevitably get around to their Hitchcock catalogue...
