Shadow of the Tomb Raider Question - Blu-ray Forum

I won't mention names, or Youtube Personalities, but someone on Youtube seems to be under the impression that Shadow of the Tomb Raider is an X-Box One exclusive, even if timed. Now, aside from the fact that there's a reveal coming in April, is there any clue or piece of evidence to support this theory? Or is this guy just going on the thought that since Rise was a timed exclusive, this one will be too?

If that's really the case, then MS please take my money. Deja vu since ROTT was one of the reasons (besides Halo and Gears) I bought an Xbox One back then.

It's been announced as releasing on September 14th for Xbox, PC, and PS4. It'll be X and Pro enhanced. No timed exclusivity.

I think they finally realized this isn't a system seller (as good as they are), which is fine for me. Save that exclusivity money for other stuff.

Okay. That's my knowledge as well. I was just curious whether he somewhat knew something I didn't, cause he seemed awfully insistent that it was gonna be a X Exclusive.

I love how it says Pre-order the digital deluxe and Croft Editions, and get to play it Sept. 12. But my pre-order on Amazon says it will be available Sept. 20th.

Looking forward to picking up my standard steelbook from Best Buy tomorrow. Can't beat 20% off plus a $10 credit for preordering. The Croft edition steelbook does look cool, I wish they would have shown the steelbook instead of the slipcover on the BB site, I might have just preordered that version instead. Still wishing this was a cross play title as I would have rather played it on PC, but the One will do.

i may pick this up 2 morrow but watching Dealers video last night i think it was where he had footage using 4K tv it looked damn good. my tv isn't 4k but 1080p i don't have the money for another tv and this one isn't that old. i got mine before 4K got cheaper and became a thing

I really want to play, but I just started Shadows of War, and looking at my play pile, I wouldn't even start it until next year, so I'll sit tight until then.

Just picked up the steelbook at Best Buy. I didn't realize it had Atmos audio. I can't wait to give it a look(and listen).

i did end up picking this up in fact, i got it at wally fart cause i didn't feel like going to the mall. and the idiots who did the stock didn't even put the thing out on the floor! but on the plus side i got the 1st copy sold at the store!
