I was surprised to find no thread on this film.
I haven’t seen it myself but have pre-ordered it.

I pre-ordered the other day and was going to start a thread... so (at least) that's two of us that are interested!

I saw it in the cinema, it's magnificent. There was a conversation going in the "We still aren't getting blu ray releases..." thread as this one took an age to get announced as getting form of home release.

It's a terrific film. I was lucky enough to see it on the big screen. Highly recommended.

I hope the UK cover is a placeholder- the US one is better

Also, anyone have any ideas regarding extras? Again, the US one seems to have some interesting ones... let's keep our fingers crossed we get a similar amount on the UK version

I think the US is also getting a UHD release if anyone's interested. Great film - very cinematic

Absolutely loved the film. I'm a cinema curator and I gave it a load of screenings here - beautiful cinematography. Can't wait to own - but will import the UHD.

The US version has A Journey of the Soul: The Making of Hostiles (1080p; 1:06:03) included as an extra - any idea if this is included on the UK release?

Also, any idea on slips? Wondering if I should keep my Amaozn pre-order or just pick it up from HMV next week.

Well the Making Of has been rated by the BBFC, which is a good sign. Would be odd to go to the effort, and cost, of rating and not include it on the blu-ray.
Hopefully someone can confirm it for sure in the next few days.

I cancelled my pre-order as I joined Cinema Paradiso to cut down on the amount of blind buys I had no interest in keeping.
I’m hoping this won’t fit into that category anyway but hopefully they will post it out to me sooner rather than later and then I’ll decide if its a keeper.

For anyone that's interested, my copy arrived from Amazon today.

It came in a matte slip with gold embossed stars... I don't think much of this cover (I prefer the US version) - and, listed on the back, is the same 3 part documentary that's on the US disc.

Shame I'm working tonight - first chance to watch will be Wednesday

I can’t understand why we’re not getting a 4k/ haven’t got one. This seems to be a worrying trend in The U.K.

Den of thieves and 12 Strong are only on Blu-Ray as well!
