Default Amusing post-WB email from online retailer

this person used to be a member here until the staff realized he wasn't actually giving us any deals and was kind of a dick. I won't say what site he owns. but here's an email I got from the site today.

''Just a quick message to our members in regards to HD DVD and Warner. Alot of people are panicking and jumping ship due to Warners Blu-ray announcement last week. Keep in mind HD DVD still has support from Paramount, Universal, Toshiba and Microsoft. Wait for the dust to settle before making any harsh decisions. With that, and in response to numerous emails we are not currently offering refunds on unopened HD DVD product. The format has suffered a blow, but still has support and titles in 2008.''

thought it was funny. and also. a good sign for blu. all the hd supporters want their money back.

is this the Canadian guy who kept creating accounts in order to thank himself for the great service? LOL! Too funny!!!

It's like a run on a bank during the depression. "Don't panic people!"

What the...??????????????????????

You'd think the harsh decision was to buy Blu-ray over HD-DVD because...

"...HD DVD still has support from Paramount, Universal, Toshiba and Microsoft."

But then is says...

" '...we are not currently offering refunds on unopened HD DVD product. The format has suffered a blow, but still has support and titles in 2008.' "

So WHY would I NOT buy Blu since HD-DVD "has suffered a blow."???

So who is the site catering to... IDIOTS???

I remember the poster. I remember the same "lack of deals" issue people had. Yea, paying the same price as other online retailers isn't much of a deal. Didn't know about the multiple accounts thing

Certainly nothing someone can get addicted to.

This HD-DVD fanboy was before my time.

However I must state that panic in a camp is seldom a sign of good tidings.
