I'm definitely looking forward to this set. I just purchased some of her films on DVD not too far back, and picked this up for $4.99 recently. The asking price on Amazon is $199.99. I like the deal I got better.

This box set has me the most excited I've been for a blu release all year! Blonde Venus is a personal favorite. Can't wait! It will also be exciting to see a cleaned up and restored Scarlet Empress. The transfer on the Criterion dvd has tons of dirt and debris. The special features look to be strong and it's nice to see them include a booklet rather than a leaflet.

Oh, HELL yes!

I can only hope that the films (not all of which are in the best condition) are given proper restorations. Even so, I'm all in on this one.

Considering the Criterion sale at BN is probably going to start on this day or one week later, there is pretty much no reason to order this on Amazon unless it shoots down to like 60 bucks.
