Never had a particularly extravagant HT setup in my adult life, and I never was a diehard audiophile. But I did upgrade my sound system late 2017, and just upgraded my TV. As of now, I think this is the best I could ask for--still nothing extravagant, but my current configuration has made me quite happy.

TV: LG 60UJ6300, 60" 4K TV
Audio: Yamaha YHT-4930UBL 3D sound system, 725W, 5.1 channels
Players: PS3, PS4, Sony UBP-X700, and a Panasonic DMP-BD60 (region-free)
