Would love to have this to, it had an Dolby Atmos mix in theaters so here's hoping when they release it (probably next year when the new film comes out) it will be added.

I recall a LOT of kvetching about how dark this was on Blu (2D) but I thought it looked amazing, an HDR grade could raise it another level.

This is obviously happening when the new Godzilla vs. Kong movie comes out.

Here's hoping we don't have to wait that long – Godzilla: King of the Monsters is in theaters next May. The follow-up to GKOFM, with Kong, is the following year.

This film has its faults, but that doesn't mean I won't be picking this up Day 1, hopefully with some Monster Zero action soon to follow, in theaters and on disc.

Oh wow I didn't know there was another Godzilla coming first!

This movie was enjoyable. I really liked the design of the Muto creatures. Not my favourite but still pre-ordering immediately when available.

One of my most-wanted UHDs. I also think the BD looks pretty great if you know what you're getting into, but HDR has potential to make this a reference disc. Just the thought of those atomic breath shots...

Especially considering how much WB loves pushing highlights on their blockbusters in HDR. Really hope this materializes soon.

Do we have any read/leaks on whether this is coming? With the sequel about 3 months out, it seems odd we've heard nothing, but rather we're getting the 1998 Emmerich version.

It's probably happening when King of the Monsters comes to UHD. Wouldn't surprise me if we get either a Godzilla 1+2 set and/or a Godzilla 1/Kong Skull Island /Godzilla 2 three-pack along with an individual Godzilla 1 release.

Seems like Warner would be dropping the ball by not releasing this to time with the sequel. Would love to watch this on 4K disc before seeing the sequel in theaters. Guess I'll just have to settle for the 1998 movie!
