Lucifer: The Complete Third Season will be available on Blu-ray courtesy of Warner Archive Collection. The Blu-ray release includes all bonus features on the DVD, and is also arriving August 28, 2018. Warner Archive Blu-ray releases are easily found at wb.com/warnerarchive and your favorite online retailer.

Entering its third season, the story of the original fallen angel continues. As Season Two came to a close, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) took care of a little problem called Mom, aka Charlotte (Tricia Helfer). But now he’s facing an even greater challenge – finding out who kidnapped him, and why his angel wings are back. In addition, Tom Welling (Smallville) joins the cast as Marcus Pierce, an accomplished police lieutenant who is everything Lucifer is not – strategic, reserved and well-respected. But perhaps even more annoying are all the things they have in common. Both men are charming, charismatic and handsome as hell. So, when Pierce starts developing a connection with Chloe (Lauren German), Lucifer’s devilish traits are inflamed.

“From powerhouse producers Jerry Bruckheimer Television, we are excited to heat up your home entertainment centers with the next installment of the critically acclaimed series,” said Rosemary Markson, WBHE Senior Vice President, Television Marketing. “Catch up on all 26 episodes from Season 3 with hours offrighteningly fun entertainment and frivolous adventures.”

The series stars Tom Ellis (Rush, EastEnders), Lauren German (Chicago Fire), Kevin Alejandro (Southland, True Blood), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), DB Woodside (Suits, 24), Lesley-Ann Brandt (The Librarians), Aimee Garcia (The George Lopez Show, Dexter), and Scarlett Estevez (Daddy’s Home), with Tom Welling (Smallville) andRachael Harris (The Hangover, Diary Of A Wimpy Kid). Based upon the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo from DC Entertainment, Lucifer is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with Warner Bros. Television. Developed by Tom Kapinos (Californication),, the series is executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean films), Jonathan Littman (The Amazing Race, CSI franchise), Joe Henderson (White Collar, Almost Human), Ildy Modrovich (CSI: Miami, Californication), Kristianne Reed (CSI: Cyber) and Sheri Elwood (Call Me Fitz).

Actually the last 2 episodes were meant for season 4. I'm still hoping for a pick up from someone.

Yeah the two extra episodes were filmed for season 3. They added 4 episodes to season 2 which would have brought it up from 18 to 22 but then it was off air from January 30th-May 1st 2017, which caused Fox to not have time to air them all so they just pushed the extras off to air at random points in season 3. Basically anytime an episode didn't follow the Sinner Man plot, it was most likely a season 2 extra episode that they used to 'play around with the characters.' Doing that brought up season 3 to 26 episodes from the 22-episode order they gave it, and Fox then decided to hold off two episodes produced in season 3 for a potential season 4 but now that's not happening...

The production codes for the bonus episodes were T13.20771 and 2, but the finale was T13.20770 so it seems they actually aired in order and they most likely would have been the first two episodes if s4 had happened. And also would give Chloe's "I have seen a lot crazier things" line when Ella told her about her 'ghost' friend more weight if it's after and about her Lucifer realization.

Glad this is still getting a Blu-Ray release and happy that it will include the two bonus episodes.

Hmm...

http://www.criticalblast.com/article...er-season-four

Basically they had released the artwork for season 3 which said "The Third and Final Season" and then today sent in new artwork just calling it "The Complete Third Season". Can't see why they would do that unless they were thinking there will be more.

I saw the two versions and was wondering about that myself. I wasn't sure which was released first, so I'm glad to see that the "Complete Third Season" one is the newest version.

Still contributing my daily #SaveLucifer tweets to the cause. Though I'm sure I might be annoying some of my friends who follow me on their feed. Worth it, though.

I noticed that myself. The "Final season" artwork leaked but then WB press release said "Complete Third Season" on the DVD. I tweeted the producers about it but no response.

Given Tom Ellis has been doing interviews and various cast members are still doing cons I'm thinking WB is at least trying to save the show

Production codes do not matter, the first episode "Boo Normal" was slated to be episode 5 or 6 of Season 4. This was said by the showrunners. The other episode was a complete stand-alone filler episode (alternate universe) and the showrunners did not specify where they would have aired it in Season 4 - but definitely not the first or second episode!

They were standalone but in the first one there was a line or 2 about that. I don't wanna get into spoilers here though.

To those who haven't seen the TV thread Lucifer has been saved! Season 4 will be on Netflix which means this will indeed say "The Complete Third Season" and NOT "Third and Final season"

my only concern with netflix is mostly netflix shows are 12 episodes max.
lucifer has always had 22 on average aapart from the mix up they did.
hopefully they allow 22 for final 4th season.

My copy of season 3 came in today. Having bought the other DC titles I can say WBHV have been cramming as much as they can on fewer discs. WAC did NOT do that with Lucifer season 3. This set is a 5 disc set. I'll give a review once I watch the Blu-ray

It is a few days after the official release date of Lucifer season 4. But aside from a couple resellers who I have no reason to trust, Amazon does not yet have season 4 on BluRay.

Warner Bros shop seems to have it but their shipping rate is nuts.

I’m going to backorder it from somewhere else on the expectation that copies are slowly making their way to vendors.

Has anyone received theirs yet?

IIRC, Amazon usually takes weeks to get MOD titles in stock, even when things were running smoothly with no pandemic crippling production. Plus, depending on when these OD's were M'ed, if it wasn't before March and have just been sitting in a warehouse waiting for release day, then they're probably not actually available yet. Apart from Movie Zyng, which might take orders even when they don't currently have stock (I've never bought anything from them to have any frame of reference), everybody is either "sold out" or backordered.

Moviezyng has it in stock.
It'll be awhile before I order it though as with everything going on it take forever to get stuff from the US these past 2 months..... Still waiting on my V: The Final Battle preorder even though it shipped just before release date.

And of course -- ignore the 2-3 wk Boilerplate. If it says it's In stock it should ship very soon though it looks like they only have a couple copies left. Free Shipping is $30 so add another item or a $10 Gift Card if you want to save Shipping

https://www.bullmoose.com/p/34514024...s-for-delivery

Since all of these ship from the same warehouse, expect overlapping stock and B&N to some extent, but B&N seems to have a second source for some WAC titles which they can sometimes ship when others are OOS (though it eliminates Free Shipping)

I got a kick out of Amazon being listed in a trusted retailer list for WAC or Allied Vaughn products. They fall somewhere below Family Video over the last 12-18 months.
