Yes this is much needed and I am sure we will get a release fairly soon, hopefully!

The Japanese BD from IVC is poor - low contrast, blown whites, lack of detail, even in close-ups. I would guess it's sourced from 16mm.

This continues to be - probably, to me - the most baffling non-release currently not-going. WB usually shows so much love for their classic films, and this one has big name stars and critical favor.

Like… maybe they have some trouble creating a passable restoration, if that's a possibility? I watched it mid last year on FilmStruck and the picture was pretty disappointing. I've considered purchasing it on iTunes to show support for the title but I'm afraid it will be similar low quality.

I would like to know if WB plans on releasing soon or is Criterion going to release it (like Philadelphia Story). One of the greatest screwball comedies with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn.

Criterion very likely has it, and I'd wager it'll come sometime next year.
