Default Did HBO stop bringing iTunes Digital Copies with their Blu-Rays?

Hey,
So one of my favorite things about the Game of Thrones BluRays, besides the neat design is that HBO always brought iTunes Digital Copy along with the UV, which is great considering I find the UltraViolet system to be extremely uncomfortable in my country.

However I just went to order the first season of Westworld, and they explicitly state the only digital copy there is UV. On the other hand the 7th season of GoT (that came out afterwards) did come with iTunes (if I recall correctly) and the new 4K for season 1 did not.

Is anyone aware of a policy change HBO made with their digital copies or it’s just these specific cases? I hope I can at least complete my GoT iTunes collection with season 8 haha

The answer to this is easy: Westworld is a Warner production. The series is only being broadcast and distributed by HBO, but is not HBO proper.

So as a Warner code (not an HBO code), it is UV (or MA), as Warner does not issue iTunes compatbile codes.

HBO codes are still UV and iTunes (and GP)

This is why we got a UV code for Westworld in the UK as it's Warner.

Here in the UK, HBO are banned from handing out digital copies with their disks because of the exclusive TV and streaming deal they have with the pay TV broadcaster Sky. HBO can sell digital content here on iTunes or Amazon, but they can't give it away packaged with their disks.
