Unfortunately I can't afford Bose, so what can someone recommend. Thanks in advance.

If your office is noisy because doors are opening and closing, people are talking a lot, and music and radios are playing everywhere... just get earbuds with Comply foam tips. Or, merely closed back headphones.
If your office has a loud air conditioner; or vacuum cleaners going all the time; or an airplane engine constantly making the same, EVEN-TONED noise... then fine, get noise cancelling headphones.
