United Kingdom Your single cheapest and most expensive Blu-ray you own

Not including box sets, what single title has put the biggest dent in your bank balance and what's been pennies?

Mine:

99p from eBay and £34.99 from Amazon release day

£0.20 in a Romiley Charity Shop + £25.85 direct from Arrow.

Have got more expensive boxed sets than the Jörg Buttgereit film but I'm 100% sure the title in question is the most I've ever paid for a single movie since my laserdic days.

Have a fair few Poundland Blu-rays, don't think I've gone cheaper than that.

Adventureland I got from British Heart Foundation for like 50p (Surprising as they normally charge £1.99 for Blu Ray copies)

As for expensive, this I needed as I adore Isle of Dogs and had the figurines included that aren't selling in the UK. But this was a $99.99 purchase through Amazon.com.
(If this bends the rule of outside UK purchase, I'll amend it)

Cheapest blu-ray I have...would probably be various titles at £2. I bought a rare Drive steelbook for £3 once tho...

Most expensive blu-ray would probably be Dead Man's Shoes which I paid £20 for because I was told it was deleted and extremely rare (only to find it for £6 in Fopp a year or two later) I paid around 30 for the Taisho trilogy, which I think is now the rarest and most expensive bluray I own. I've seen it go between 180 and 400 on Amazon

Quite a few of my Blu-rays have been a penny (new and sealed). Not sure what my most expensive single-movie is? Probably around £25, one of those Arrow releases Phenomena or The Thing limited editions.

Most expensive single-disc, non-limited edition:

This cost me approximately £53 all in. Expensive because it was unavailable to order directly from Japan, so I had to use a proxy shopping service.

Cheapest: any of several BDs that I’ve bought from charity shops for 50p.

no idea, sorry.

Most expensive:
Middle Earth Ultimate Collector's Edition, imported from Germany

I don't know for sure, but must have been around 170-180 EUR (and that was even relatively cheap).

Oh wait, no box sets.
Well, then it's one of my One-Clicks from South Korea I guess.

I'm so sad that I didn't get this one. Was limited to just a few, maybe 1000 or 1500 or so. Sold out quite fast. Amz even dropped the price at the end and I didn't grab it

Let's include DVDs too.
I got this one:

https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/Ghost-in...nce-DVD/39077/
They don't make LEs like they used to be.
Yes, two hard cover books are included.

Well, I'm not in the UK (American), so I got it off of an eBay seller that shipped internationally. That was my first ever Blu-ray. Ever. I got that box set as soon as it was announced because I knew Castle of Cagliostro was owned by Discotek in the US and I thought we'd never get an equivalent box set... if only I could see the future...

Still, it's a nice set.

Wow, you were really lucky.
I thought they made tons of them and thought it would drop further. And then it was sold out and the prices went to insane levels.

Right now I think I could import the Japanese box set instead (and that's basically the same, but all the BDs are region free) for around the same price as the UK one.

At least I own all the zavvi Ghibli steelbooks and I imported the German ones too (they are not the same, and the German ones contain a special coin each).

Really lovely set. It's a shame that they didn't produce way more.

I think I remember people saying that the UK releases are the better ones, but I'm not sure.
I think it were especially dub-titles or something like that.

The US releases are better due to better PQ. Studio Canal added slight DNR to the UK discs, whereas Disney didn't. Of course, the JP discs are far better.

My most expensive blu-rays are the Classic Archive classical music sets. They are blu-rays with as much as 18 hours of rare musical performances from the 50s and 60 and 70s in SD. Jam packed with amazing things. No packaging. Each one costs about £45-60 on release. I think I have about six or seven of them.
