Seems that FandangoNow has a rather large collection of titles in 4K from Universal on their service that are not available elsewhere.
Titles such as: Bridesmaids Bruce Almighty Erin Brokovich Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Knocked Up Love Actually Ted Trainwreck among many others... Has anyone purchased any of these FN exclusive 4K releases that can comment on their quality? |

The only one I can comment on is Isle of Dogs, which is 4K but not HDR. So on a screen smaller than 75 inches you would not see a difference in definition, and without HDR, no difference in definition through that either (would look essentially the same as the HD version).
So the question on the FN exclusive titles such as above (and others) is: are they HDR or not? Or even 4K/UHD scans? Or simply upconverted HD scans? |

As for these Universal titles, I am asking because there does not seem to be any older Universal titles available on iTunes or VUDU that don't have an accompanying UHD disc release to which I could compare. My assumption is that they do not have HDR but I'm interested in knowing if perhaps they come from 4K masters which there might be some benefit from (however small it may be). |

Love Actually is not HDR. I haven't watched it since getting the UHD digital, but from flipping through, quality didn't strike me as all that great. Still need to do a comparison against the HD version on another service, but looking like I missed the 'season' to do so.
