It's a StudioCanal title. As expected, Shout are now known to be the company who have licenced StudioCanal's 'essential' horror titles.

The announcement i've been waiting for. Looks like it won't be a Collector's Edition, which means no slipcover - which is fine since that artwork is the one I'll be needing. This one's a grail and another off the wishlist. Very happy.

Not exactly a great movie, it does have some brutal kills

and a score totally ripped off from The Shining. It entertains none the less.

Oh YES I've been waiting for this announcement for years. It's not a great movie, but I loved the atmosphere, the score and it has some great kills.

That original artwork is amazing too.

I disagree. I think it IS a great horror movie. Brilliant atmosphere, score and well-shot. Pre-ordered!

I also disagree. There are only a handful of horror films most of us would agree are truly "great" (The Exorcist comes to mind) but this isn't a genre one would look to for enlightenment. I get that some people like their films a bit more faster-paced and grounded in reality; what I don't get is why people have their bar set so high for these kinds of movies.

Like this one. Have the UK DVD,i wonder if there's any chance of The Manitou as canal released that on the same label as this.The UK tagline was always "You'll believe it just before you die" which is better than what's on the Scream! cover

There's no way one's perception of the film cannot be affected by that epic poster art. Truly no slipcover needed, unless it just duplicated the original art. One of the most striking horror poster images ever, it reminds me of a metal album cover.
