Saw on their FB page that Film Movement will be releasing All About Lily Chou-Chou on Blu-ray. One of the best Japanese films in the last 20 years for sure.

UK has Eureka, Second Sight and Third Windows..so happy that film companies like Film Movement have the boldness to release these classic yet contemporary Japanese films.

Just watched my copy. Wow, does this look good. Can finally get rid of my DVD and really happy with this release. If you're a fan of Japanese cinema this is a must. Easily one of the best Japanese films in the last 20 years without a shadow of a doubt.

Recently found out about this from the Film Movement Facebook page. Definitely interested in it. Was hoping to find it for a bit cheaper then $30 but will add it to my list for now...

Yeah, it's fantastic. One of the best Japanese films of the last 20 years. Some of the music from the film was actually used in Kill Bill.

Not sure how I missed out on this announcement. I haven't seen the film in ages but it's incredible and I can't wait to see it in HD.

It's pretty insane how much better it looks than the HVE release. It honestly looks like a different film.

i loved this film since the first dvd release in the states, and i've been using that copy for all my rewatches.

.. until now. the blu-ray by film movement is wonderful. does iwai's beautiful movie justice

So did this film go OOP? Film Movement still sells the DVD but the BD is no longer listed on their website. Can't find it anywhere online.

I recall seeing someone else ask abut this a couple months ago (unless that was you). I imagine they still have rights, so they might be between pressings.

Probably best to contact them and find out for sure
