Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators - Blu-ray Forum

A new, second series of detective drama series Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators (shot on location in Stratford-upon-Avon) starts on BBC One next Monday afternoon at 2.15 pm. There will be ten episodes in total, and it should air over two weeks (Monday to Friday).

The first series was released on DVD only last year by Dazzler, but a Blu-ray release is happening next month, with the second series out on DVD and Blu-ray in April.

Don't know when it is due to start on BBC One, but a third series of Shakespeare and Hathaway is in the works. One of the stars of the show appeared on a new edition of Celebrity Pointless several weeks ago, and mentioned that they're filming a third series of the show.

It seems to be a bit earlier than last year, but the last time I checked on Geektown for the third series of Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators, it said February next year. Earlier this year, the second series started in April.

Love this show!!...They signed on for 4th Season!!...Can't find a release date for season 3, in the US...I've been watching it on BritBox

Thanks for your post. Much appreciated. That's the first I've read about the show being renewed for a fourth series/season.

Have watched the first three episodes of the third season (which started three days ago), and the only episode I didn't like as much was Tuesday afternoon's episode (about a rock star).

Still seen nothing about whether a fourth series has actually been filmed. Whether this means anything (it should do), I don't know, but there has been a Blu-ray pre-order listing on Amazon UK for a fourth series of Shakespeare & Hathaway - Private Investigators.

Following on from the above, quoted post, a sort-of update. Haven't seen a start date yet for the fourth series, but in the new issue of Inside Soap magazine, it mentions that the new series will be starting sometime in February.

The new, fourth series of Shakespeare & Hathaway - Private Investigators starts on BBC One next Monday afternoon. If like the first three series, all ten episodes should be available on the BBC iPlayer from next Monday, and the fourth series should be on from Mondays to Fridays for two weeks.
