Halloween H20 VUDU aspect ratio? - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone own this on VUDU? I'm thinking about getting it but want to make sure it's in the correct Ratio. Thanks.

Not sure if that helps. Halloween H20 is widescreen on Vudu, on my widescreen phone there are slight bars on the sides suggesting to me that the aspect is 16:9 (and not full 2.35:1). My understanding is that 16:9 is NOT original aspect ration so while I might be overlooking differences between 16:9 and 2.35:1 I suspect horizontal cropping but there were no obvious items misframing. Is there an easy way to tell?

It was shot in Super 35, so this might be why some versions pop up in different aspect ratios.
