Don't care for Keegan-Michael Key, but that looks pretty fun. Eddie Murphy looks in top form and it's always nice to see Wesley Snipes. Too bad it's only on Netflix. Will check it out if it gets a physical release, though.

What made Dolemite great was a complete lack of political correctness (pretty certain that concept didn't even exist yet). I can't see a modern version being half as good.

Might want to actually watch the trailer. This isn't a remake of the film, but a dramatization of the *making* of the film.

Having grew up seeing the Blaxploitation flicks of the 70s, my dad and uncles will get a kick out of this.

I was at work so couldn't watch the video. In that case I'm intrigued because I've always enjoyed the movies.

Wow, talk about tonally inconsistent. Rudy Ray Moore was a crude foul mouthed muther. Eighties Eddie Murphy was a crude foul mouthed muther.

2019 Eddie Murphy on the other hand, is . . . . oh, how shall we say - extremely family friendly.

Good to see Eddie Murphy back and looking enthusiastic. I’m a fan of Dolemite so this looks like a lot of fun.

Not the biggest fan of Murphy but this looks solid. Would have prefered an unknown perhaps playing Dolemite.

Looks very 'The Disaster Artist'-esque, but probably not as good.

Looks good was thinking of dropping Netflix till season 2 of Dead To Me comes out but with this and The Irishman coming out I'll hang onto it for now.

It's co-written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, who have a pretty impressive list of biopics under their belt: Ed Wood, Man on the Moon, The People vs Larry Flynt, and Big Eyes. It'a also directed by the same person who did Hustle & Flow, and Black Snake Moan, which are probably the two closest films to this new one. So at least on paper, this film seems pretty solid both in cast, and crew.
