The big movies are almost always listed for pre-order the day of cinema release...

Wait until a low price.
The film was just a slightly better alternative to "Terminator 3".

I'm not very excited. I felt exactly the same about the last X-Men movie.

Day one for 4K, not my favourite Terminator sequel after T2 but it was a really entertaining action sci fi. I do prefer Salvation and Genisys though.

I mean I haven't heard very good things about the new movie but I'll bet Salvation is still the best modern sequel to the franchise.

I haven't seen it but
[Show spoiler] doesn't the decision to kill off a child John Connor in the opening minutes make Cameron a right ol' hypocrite? I seem to recall him heavily complaining about Alien 3 killing off Newt and Hicks.

...plus the MCU phase 4, the Doctor Who special and forthcoming series, Star Trek Discovery and Picard, the Watchmen and His Dark Materials TV shows and of course any Disney Star Wars. A lot of favourite franchies dying on their arse at the moment but Terminator Dark Fate feels especially pointless.

I saw this at the cinema on Friday. It's very silly and a bit melodramatic but the action and effects are very cool. It's a bit tryhard in it's efforts to be woke but the ladies all do a great job so in the end it's not an issue. I cannot stress enough how silly this film is. If you accept that before seeing it then you'll have a good time. It's a pretty massive difference in tone to the original film. The original is my favourite so this really isn't a terminator film as far as I'm concerned. There's 1 & 2 then there's all the dumb follow ups. Dark Fate doesn't transcend any of those but it's comfortable better than any other post T2 entry.

Arnie and Linda Hamilton seem to have great chemistry in the promo stuff they've done together so it would be nice if they have a commentary on the disc.

Saw this on Sunday night and enjoyed it. Is it as good as the first two? No it’s not. But I thought it was s little better quality than the other sequels, and I enjoyed most of them.

I fortunately didn’t know about the opening scene so it was a surprise. I actually quite liked the irony of it.

There is though? *shrug* Unlike the last few Terminator films, I might actually get this on release if there's a nice steelbook or something, had such a blast with this one, much to my surprise.

I think it's been mentioned that it needed over $400,000,000 to break even, I don't think China will even save this one. It will do okay on streaming and physical, but I doubt anyone apart those who got big paydays upfront will be seeing much return.

The rights were bought a few years back for 20 million, someone joked that we could have crowd-funded that! If they can get one quarter of a billion dollars for a video game ...

I've pre-ordered the 4K disc already being a Terminator completist, but can't be arsed to see this at the cinema
