PS5 Box Design - Vote for your favorite

Here’s food for thought: what design will the PlayStation 5’s boxes adopt? We already know that the device will include a Blu-ray player, so it’s unlikely you should expect a different shape or size of case to the PlayStation 4 – it’s not like it will have to accommodate Nintendo Switch-sized cartridges all of a sudden, for example.

I, personally, like the Transparent design. It would also look nice with the transparent case.

I genuinely feel like all of them look fine but the different artwork could be throwing me off maybe choosing one because it seems each cover fits the artwork chosen. So if it was one title with one artwork, it might be a different story. With BC and the same font pretty much they could basically keep things like they are. However i would have loved to maybe have seen a black and red colour scheme on PS5. Go full on Dark Side and Sith like to kill MS and their Green Jedi colours! They already did the blue Jedi thing and won

The second one, the first one is too similar to the ps4

Prefer the black with the smoke (translucent black) cases. The PS3 and PS4 have used clear and blue cases, respectively, so I can't seem them using those colors.

The white stands out really well and separates itself from any confusion of the PS4 blue design, since the PS4 and PS5 logos are so similar if that was the concept they might go with.

I liked the 2nd one best. Black would be nice for visual consistency with 4k cases.

I think that there should be some blue on the box. I like the idea that every console has its own color: Blue for PlayStation, red for the Switch and green for the Xbox. The boxes should definitely be thinner though. The PS4 boxes are real space-wasters, they never come with a thick manual anyway.

Yes, the slim style case should be adopted, fingers crossed...

Going with the black, it's the same style used in UK 4K released movie titles, unlike the US slimline cases. I'm also going to anticipate that microsoft are going to go the same route with the X2; US-style 4k cases but with the added annoyance of the disc being inserted in the left side of the case.

I'm between Black and Black and Blue. Weren't the PS2 titles Black? Unfortunately I missed that whole generation...xbox owner...

From the options above, I think Dreams is the most premium looking, specially if it’s slim
