I'd watch it, but it'll probably never happen.

I honestly don't think i want to see a sequel with Stallone. It was a decent 90s action romp and that's where his version should stay but i wouldn't actually mind a reboot of sorts with slightly less 90s camp acting.

Just not sure there's anybody really as iconic i could think of off the top of my head to play Stallone's or Snipe's characters though even if you race bended.

So where can they take the story with this film 30 years later? The story must be good, because Stallone said years ago that he wanted to do a sequel but that the boat had long since sailed...

I think this is a bad idea the original was a classic and should stay that way

The film's mocking of political correctness is more on point now than when it first came out. Which is why it surprises me that a studio would be interested in resurrecting this property. My guess is that Stallone is just expressing some wishful thinking and trying to drum up interest in any of his old properties. So, it probably won't happen.

But I would like a 4K release of the '93 film, please.

Also their showing of dirty politicians who lie to the public to line their pockets, especially now.

Absolutely! We also need President Schwarzenegger! Make sure he gets the presidential library!

Did you realise that Rob Schneider isn't even credited for his minor role in this film? 2 years later and he's the co-star with Stallone in the adaptation of 2000AD comic's lead strip, Judge Dredd...

I really enjoyed the first half of the first one and then I fell off, unfortunately. Recently tried to watch it and had the same reaction.

Hell yeah I'm in.

Also, hopefully this means we will get a 4K release of the original soon.

At least they didn't wait 27 years for the sequel. That would be silly.

There was an idea for a sequel some time ago, and Joel Silver wanted Meryl Streep to play Stallone's daughter...That would be amazing!
