Biggest waste of a cast

Prometheus for me. Only Noomi and Fassbender had meaty roles. Everyone else was wasted badly.

My buddy and I couldn't stand Ad Astra. Gorgeous to look at. Great cast. But...ugh. I do not have high hopes for Armageddon Time which has a stellar cast.

The Big Wedding also. That was a dynamite cast squandered by the stupidest of plots. We tried watching that in April on Amazon, and we turned it off 35 min into it.

Nine~~Daniel Day Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Judi Dench, Sophia Lauren, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman... For a very weak movie that only works as a Victoria Secret commercial.

Power Rangers 2017 in that it will be a waste not to use that cast in future movies.

I was disappointed with that movie, I guess it felt more like a CW production than a Powder Rangers movie for me.

I loved the short Power Rangers film on YouTube, though.

They changed too much and I just didn't end up liking any of the changes. Nothing can top the first season of MMPR for me. Making Alpha an alien instead of a robot, and whatever the hell Goldar was supposed to be, Rita Repulsa's design and the Iron Man-esque Ranger suits were all just off to me in the final product. Couldn't really enjoy any of it as to me Power Rangers is Season 1 of MMPR, not that techno-aesthetic alien crap.

The Hobbit movies are probably up there, not outright terrible, but for so much excess, almost all actors have relatively little to do, especially compared to The Lord of the Rings, which managed to have roles have some form of purpose.

Yep, that's the first one I thought of as well.

I give a vote for Dog Eat Dog (2016) for putting Nic Cage and Willem Dafoe in the same film, and then proceeding to keep Cage leashed and Dafoe off the screen most of the time. Such a potential for total madness.

I'd throw in Dune (1984) as well. A cast of absolute legends sunk by a total mess of a film.

Well, yeah, I can't think of a better cast in a worse movie than that one. Seltzberg's movies? They're all complete unknowns who will never star in anything again after working with those 2 clowns.
