I liked the game, but i just think it's becoming a cash grab IP for EA amongst like Burnout. They don't really care to do something about the franchise.

I can't remember when i last properly played a NFS game i fell in love with. Just seem like a generic mess.

Depending on how much it is, I’ll probably sink some cash into, I think I only rented it back in the day, and I remember getting through it all pretty quickly, so a around £30 price tag would incite me to pick it up.

I never played it. I lost interest in racing games after spending too much time in Midnight Club back in the XB360 days. But it’s a new generation and I’ll probably be trying all kinds of stuff, so we’ll see.

Not gonna lie. That trailer did nothing for me and they spent more time trying to build a story of rivalry than showing off how the actual game compares to the original. Tbh, if that was the PS4 version, it looks abysmal by today's standard and a pure EA cash grab special.

I'd buy it for the nostalgia but not at anything other than bargain bin

Hot pursuit did it for me. I've always liked 'power ups' in my racing games....ala Blur or Split Second, so this for me hit that sweet spot.

the ps1 Hot Pursuit was a different game, this is a remaster of another original game lol, this is why franchises shouldn’t reuse titles

I did play this game & am sure the Remastered version will look good. I remember the 360/PS3 Hot Pursuit game. That’s probably not the original, dunno. I’ve been playing these games since the 90’s lol

I’ll pass on this though, I still have the original if I want to play. I didn’t like a NFS since Rivals and maybe NFS 2015.

Yes, I agree. It's probably just better resolution and textures. Nice to be able to play it on PS4 too.

There was genuinely a moment in the video above i thought the remaster was the before version lol. Genuinely doesn't look that great over the prior version imo. Perhaps the quality was off but not sure.

I don’t care about the graphics, just happy it’s on current gen. I’m not going to pay $40, though

hopefully they remaster more old NFS, I want Most Wanted (2005) next
